On November 8th, 2013, the Philippines was devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. The death toll is rising, 580,000+ people have lost their homes and are without food, water or shelter.

I’ve created this pin-up featuring a “Tinikling” dancer. If you didn’t know, Tinikling is a traditional dance in Philippines where one moves between two “clapping” bamboo poles. It’s very tricky because if you don’t time it just right, you’ll get your foot trapped! I made this pin-up art to honor a vibrant and rich culture and because this country, my parent’s country, desperately needs our help.

The pole dance community prides itself on being supportive the world over. Let’s show everyone what we’re capable of by helping out those who have lost so much. All the profit generated from the sale of this set will be donated to UNICEF Philippines.

For those of you who do not wish to purchase the PDA image set, but would still like to donate, please visit the UNICEF website to see how you can help: http://donate.unicef.ph/campaign/24/typhoon-yolanda-emergency-appeal

** Thank you for those who donated! We raised 6566P for UNICEF!**

Maraming salamat.
Leen Isabel
