Wrist Brace Adventures!

Getting through a sprained tendon is pretty boring. I overworked my wrist from doing pole, drawing and work and now I have to keep off it. This really sucks.
I’m two weeks into this and my wrist still can’t bear my weight. It’s better, but not perfect. :( To say the least, it’s discouraging but I’m finding ways to keep practicing with my good arm. (Which is my left — the weak side.)
I’ll get back up there as soon as I can. Never give up!

I drew this last week out of frustration. Trying to draw with one of these things on is really, really weird!

I know that feeling… I had a bad wrist before (from too much writing or computer or whatever), and pole isn’t really helping with that… but I used a brace and some cream (voltadol, with this stuff in it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diclofenac) and it worked wonders! after using the cream for two days it was gone.
    hang in there, you will get better :)

  2. I hope you have a good recovery! I overworked my right shoulder one month ago, from training handsprings, had to be off for 2 weeks, it is a terrible feeling and pain :( The worst part is been away from pole dancing to recover! But the best thing is to rest…

  3. hope you recover soon; i’m out myself for 2 weeks at least: tendinitis of my shoulder joint; it hurts like h*ll; i cant even drive to work without pain :S
    hope to get to the pole soon ! my new pole arrives this week and i cannot even try it out :(
